Terms of purchase

All orders from CarPlayAuto are binding. Normally, you will receive a confirmation within a few minutes to the email address you provided during the order process. If you do not receive your confirmation, if you wish to cancel your order, or if you want to make any changes, please contact us promptly at info@CarPlayAuto.se.

RETURN POLICY
It's important that you contact us before returning the item.

We offer a 14-day return policy for stock items that are in their original packaging and have not been installed.
The 14 day return policy starts the day you reccive the item. 

When a customer wishes to return a product, the item must be sent back within 14 days from the day the customer informed CarPlayAuto about the return.

No returns will be accepted for motor parts with broken packaging.

For orders of items with a delivery time of 4-8 days or more (i.e., non-stock items), the right of withdrawal does not apply, as these items are ordered directly from the supplier based on the customer's specifications.

If a product is returned more than 14 days after purchase, a deduction of 25% will be made from the sale amount, but only if you have contacted us beforehand. Returns older than 14 days will not be accepted if no prior communication has been made.

Customers are responsible for both outbound and return shipping costs for returns.

All packages returned to us must be sent via Business Parcel directly to us, not to a pick-up location.

Packages sent to pick-up locations will not be collected and will be returned to you

We do not repurchase items older than 30 days.

Please note that the right of return does not apply if the item has been used, connected, or if CarPlayAuto has not approved the return.

For pre-paid orders, the right of return does not apply to special orders, i.e., non-stock items.

Return shipping costs for items returned under the Distance Contracts Act are the customer's responsibility, as the Distance Contracts Act does not give the customer the right to claim reimbursement for transport costs or other performed services.

If you have chosen invoice payment, we recommend paying the invoice to avoid any reminder fees.

SHIPPING
Undelivered letters are subject to a SEK 250 charge, invoiced afterwards. Undelivered packages are subject to a charge based on the shipping costs to and from the customer, plus 10% of the cost of the goods.

Undelivered packages of large dimensions are subject to a SEK 800 charge.

Undelivered packages to Norway and Finland are subject to the shipping cost to the customer and a fee of SEK 600 for the cost of return shipping.

In case of non-payment, the invoice will be forwarded to debt collection.

No compensation is provided for incorrect deliveries, delays, or similar issues.

WARRANTY
Please note that for the warranty to be valid, the products must have been handled according to standards and not subjected to more stress than what is considered normal.

To ensure the validity of the warranty, the customer must ensure the correctness of the product before installation.

There is no warranty for mishandled products. Since the products are intended for modification/rebuild/tuning purposes, warranty only covers the part itself, not the parts and work surrounding it. No warranty commitments are accepted 12 months after purchase. Electronics products with broken seals, such as circuit boards, are not covered by warranty. CarPlayAuto
CarPlayAuto is not responsible for any engine failures when using our products or services. We disclaim all forms of damages that may occur to vehicles or other items in connection with assembly or use, as well as any negative impact on vehicle safety, loss of profit, travel/transportation costs, driving characteristics, or vehicle warranty coverage. The warranty applies only to the original buyer, and a receipt or copy of the receipt must be provided.

Please note that if you modify your product in any way, the warranty does not apply if the issue is a result of your handling.

For complaints, always contact CarPlayAuto customer service before sending anything.

For warranty issues outside of Sweden, the customer is responsible for return shipping and must ensure correct completion of customs documents.

For warranty issues within Sweden, we cover return shipping.

CarPlayAuto will inspect the product according to your description of the issue, so please provide as detailed information as possible. If the product is found to be without defects or not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, a fee of SEK 300 including VAT will be charged to cover CarPlayAuto's return costs.

GENERAL
Generally, all our products are intended for competition use and should not be used on public roads. Regarding use on public roads, it's the customer's responsibility to determine if the vehicle can be approved by the Swedish Vehicle Inspection after installation of the products. Installation accessories are included in the purchase of most products, but not all.

TRANSPORT DAMAGES
CarPlayAuto follows the rules of shipping companies for damaged goods. Since the shipping company's guarantee does not apply seven days after delivery, it's very important to observe the following: If the package is damaged when you pick it up, immediately file a damage report with your local pick-up location. If you discover the damage after you've returned home, bring the entire package back to the pick-up location as soon as possible (but no later than seven days after the package was picked up) and file a damage report. Also, report the damage to CarPlayAuto.

Please note that CarPlayAuto cannot reimburse you for damages if you do not follow the shipping company's rules for damaged goods.

EXCHANGE POLICY
At CarPlayAuto, we do not administer exchanges, but you have a full 14-day right of return. To exchange your item for another, return it according to our return terms and then order the item you want instead.

PRICES
The prices in the store are listed in SEK (Swedish Krona), and all prices include 25% VAT. We reserve the right for price changes caused by supplier price changes, misprints in the price list, and inaccuracies in prices due to incorrect information and reserve the right to adjust the price. We disclaim all responsibility for any typographical errors.

FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of war, natural disaster, labor disputes, government decisions, failed deliveries from subcontractors, or other unforeseeable events beyond our control that prevent CarPlayAuto from fulfilling its obligations, CarPlayAuto shall be released from its obligations to fulfill said agreement/commitment.

RESERVATION
CarPlayAuto reserves the right for possible typographical and referencing errors and reserves the right to change all information on the website without prior notice.

ABOUT COOKIES
We use so-called "cookies" to ensure good functionality in our online store. We do not collect any personal information about you as a visitor. Instead, cookies are used to keep track of your shopping cart and remember the choices and settings you've made in the store.
